Our Story

Express Glass Packaging and Hwa Hsia Glass collaborated with Owens Illinois to assume Owen’s Fast From Stock (FFS) program on items produced by Hwa Hsia Glass. In doing so, we purchased the entire FFS inventory in order to rebuild this program. Express Glass will continue to build inventory levels in line with our customers’ needs. Express Glass is now being distributed by McKernan Packaging Clearing House.

Quality Glass

Express Glass produces your ware in a Hwa Hsia Factory on a very defined production line, specifically set up to produce glass that meets all USA glass standards. This includes imported sand, refined cullet, automated inspection and assurance of meeting all EPA regulations for heavy metals.

Grover C. Dixon III

Mr. Dixon is a graduate of Emory Law School. His professional career has spanned 33 years with Owens-Illinois in various Sales and Marketing positions (Cincinnati, Chicago, NYC, Rochester, Atlanta, Caracas Venezuela and St Louis). Positions held include, National Accounts Manager, Export Sales Manager, Account Executive, Senior Global Account Executive, Account Director, Sales Manager, VP Category Director Beverage and Food, VP Category Director Distribution / Drug and Chemical . His list of customers over his career includes such recognizable companies as Anheuser Busch, Coca Cola World Wide Operations, Proctor & Gamble, General Foods, Nestle and Kraft Foods, just to name a few. Mr. Dixon retired as Vice President Sales & Marketing and Category Director for North America Glass Container.

Mr. Dixon has also had twenty years experience in International Sales managing the Global Sourcing and Import category. He has conducted business for Owens Illinois in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Columbia, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico.

Most recently, Mr. Dixon served as Assistant Dean of the College of Business and Information Sciences at Tuskegee University leading the Student Development and Special Programs for the college. During his tenure at the university, Mr. Dixon served as Instructor in the area of Sales and Marketing and Supply Chain Management.

Mr. Dixon serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at his church, CFCC Intl., VP Suppliers and is a National Board Member of IBPA (International Beverage Packers Association) and Board Chairman for the Andrew Brimmer College of Business Advisory Board.
